Little improvements. New possibilities. An easier way to get your plans into your calendar. Here’s what we’ve been working on, week by week.

Week of

Edit calendar files in your browser

  • Open an existing calendar in the free ICS editor. Change event details, add or delete events, undo changes and download the complete file without signing in or uploading it.
  • Alarms, attendees, time zones and recurrence exceptions stay in your file. Complex dates and repeat rules are clearly marked read-only where an edit could lose information.
  • Choosing an end date for a repeating event now keeps the day you selected in time zones behind UTC.

Week of

Shared schedules and a new Fastmail guide

  • Upload a shared schedule and choose the people or groups you need with a paid plan. Review their events beside the original image before adding them to your calendar.
  • Import weekly and monthly work schedules as individual shifts, including shifts that finish after midnight.
  • Warnings about unreadable roster details stay visible while you choose and review your shifts, so you can check them against the image.
  • Jump back to the top of long event lists with the arrow button in the bottom-right corner.

  • A new guide shows how to import an ICS file into Fastmail or subscribe to a calendar URL, with a drag-and-drop demo, direct settings links, a sample file and fixes for common problems.
  • Clearer plan descriptions explain what is free, when chat editing and shared-schedule selection need a paid plan, and the 50-event free export limit for CSV to ICS. For PDF input, paste its text or upload a screenshot of the page.
  • If a shared schedule needs a paid plan to choose rows or teams, the upgrade prompt leaves your free creation allowance untouched.
  • Reopening shared-schedule choices checks your current plan, even when your browser still shows an older subscription. If paid access ends, history saves show a clear refusal instead of asking you to keep retrying.
  • Already subscribed? Sign in directly from the shared-schedule upgrade prompt.
  • Prices keep their exact amounts, including cents, and sale comparisons no longer use estimated original prices.
  • The Lifetime offer now runs through October 31. The price increases at midnight London time on November 1.

Edit bigger lists, read slower images and compare plans

  • Turn a calendar file into a PDF agenda with the free ICS to PDF converter. Paste or upload an ICS file to see every event grouped by day in your time zone, with its location, organizer, link and notes, then download the PDF to print or share. Emoji print in colour, and events written in other languages, such as Russian, Arabic, Chinese or Japanese, print in full. Your calendar stays on your device.
  • The ICS viewer, ICS to CSV and ICS to PDF tools now share one result screen with Export CSV, Download PDF and Print. Print sends the PDF agenda itself to your printer. Under PDF options you can change the agenda's title, hide the time zone, or leave out notes for a compact list, and the file is named after the title.
  • Event notes in the ICS viewer and in CSV exports no longer end with our own Just Schedule Me line.
  • Events that end in another time zone, such as flights, now show the right end time in the ICS tools, their CSV exports and PDF agendas.
  • PDF agendas print every character of traditional Chinese, and of Japanese and Korean written with kanji or hanja, and calendars with hundreds of events become a PDF in a fraction of the time.
  • Start with text or an image on the homepage, then continue on the schedule page to review your events before adding them to your calendar.
  • When your free creations run out, a clearer account prompt shows one signup button and keeps sign-in easy to find on smaller screens.
  • Create events 3 times a month for free: once without an account, then sign in for two more. Each text submission or image counts once, including all events extracted from it. Failed attempts do not count.
  • Compare creation allowances, event editing, calendar export and saved history on our updated pricing page.
  • Your remaining free creations load more reliably when our service is slow.
  • Paid plans can edit up to 420 events together through chat. Review your changes before adding them to your calendar.
  • Slow image scans have more time to finish. Clear image errors explain when you need a different image instead of asking you to repeat the same upload.
  • Large event lists open a few cards at a time, so you can start reviewing sooner. Add all still includes the whole list.

  • The new text-to-calendar page turns pasted plans into events, and a new iPhone guide helps you open downloaded calendar files.
  • A simpler dashboard keeps your account and scheduling tools close at hand. Signing in takes you straight there.
  • Event previews keep the focus on your event details, without the promotional footer getting in the way.
  • The calendar file tools remain free to use without spending your schedule-reading allowance.
